Graptopetalum filiferum is very unique rosette succulent, much different from the typical echeveria. Its rosette is densely compiled of many (60-100) silvery green succulent leaves. Its leaves are stacked around the rosette in a way that gives it a flat appearance. Each leaf having a pointed bristle at the point, but it's soft, not sharp. Graptopetalum filiferum will grow up to about 6 inches across and then will start to sprout pups to form a cluster. Most succulents, including Graptopetalum filiferum, perform best with at least 6 hours of bright sunlight and kept relatively dry. They must be let to dry down completely between waterings. Graptopetalums are not hardy succulents. They must not be allowed to be exposed to frost or freezing temperatures. Graptopetalum filiferum is a live potted plant in a 4 inch pot.
